Success Story: St. Joseph’s Hospital, Phoenix, AZ

In late 2019, early 2020, MERC partnered with Dignity Health and St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona to accomplish a facility-wide medical equipment inventory and reconciliation to their asset ledger. In this process, the MERC team successfully inventoried over 5,600 assets in approximately 2 million square feet. Navigating a leading Research and Level 1 trauma facility is a task that takes significant planning, teamwork, and flexibility. At the completion of the engagement, MERC and Dignity Health accomplished a high level of reconciliation that gave the system and facility the ability to more effectively manage their assets financially from that time forward.
